Adventure Narrative Rubric

You will be writing your own adventure/exploration narrative. Your final narrative can be in the form of an essay or paper, with or without pictures, or in the form of a picture book. Make sure to plan before you write so that your plot is organized with a clear exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. Use colorful word choices and details to support your story. A big focus of this project is to work on sentence fluency, or how well your sentences “flow” from one to the next. Before you write your final draft, read your story out loud. Does it sound pleasing?
