(Library) to Participate in Country-wide Digital Book Club
Together We Read allows readers across Canada to borrow the eBook, Amazing Grace, for free
(City, State) – Day Month, Year – (Library name) announced today that it will take part in the first Together We Read in Canada, a digital Book Club through public libraries that connects readers across Canada with the same eBook at the same time. For a two-week period beginning April 13, (Library name) users will be able to borrow the eBook, Amazing Grace by Lesley Crewe (Nimbus), from (Library name’s) digital collection (http://xxx.lib.overdrive.com) and participate in a country- wide version of a local Book Club. Together We Read is facilitated by OverDrive, the leading platform for eBooks and audiobooks from the library.
Amazing Grace is a heartfelt tale of enduring love and forgiveness, and the deep roots of family. A story of a woman in her 60s trapped between a past she’s been struggling to resolve and a present that keeps her on her toes, Grace finally tells her story to try and heal both herself and her dysfunctional family. Crackling with Lesley Crewe’s celebrated wit and humour, Crewe creates delightful characters that are easy to relate to in this story of family relationships, conflicts and ambitions.

Together We Read is a free program that will run from April 13-27, 2017. To get started reading, all that is needed is a (library name) library card. Amzaing Grace can be read on all major computers and devices, including iPhone®, iPad®, Android™ phones and tablets and Chromebook™. The eBook will be available with no wait lists and will automatically expire at the end of the lending period, so there are never any late fees.
