2015 SEASON  The 2015 season will run from November 3rd 2014 to November 1st 2015.  Ages shall be taken as at the 1st January 2015.  ALL ODE’s run under PCAWA Rules will automatically be considered to be part of the Series.

ADMINISTRATION:  The PCAWA Europa Saddlery Eventing Series is administered by the PCAWA Office and all enquiries should be directed to the Eventing Series Coordinator (ESC) via [email protected].  Organising secretaries will be provided with a template result sheet that the ESC encourages them to use for submitting results, if not using an electronic scoring system.

CLUBS  Must pay a $2.50 levy on EVERY entry regardless of whether competing in PCAWA or Open category.  Clubs to forward levies to the PCAWA Office within 21 days of the event being held unless by prior arrangement with the PCAWA Office. Failure to do so may result in a PCAWA steward not being appointed for further events. This decision will be made by the PCAWA Eventing Committee.  Full results, including penalties earned for each phase must be forwarded to the PCAWA Office within 21 days of the event being held unless by prior arrangement with the PCAWA Office. This decision will be made by the PCAWA Eventing Committee.  Points will not be awarded until levies and results have been received.  Each event must be officiated by a PCAWA approved Steward  Events must run in accordance with all current PCAWA Eventing rules  The event must be open to all PCAWA riders.  Events may run Open classes and must pay a levy on all entries in those classes but only placing’s in PCAWA Classes will be credited to the Leaderboard.

ELIGIBILITY FOR INCLUSION ON THE LEADERBOARD  Effective 1st January 2015, all members who wish to be included on the Leaderboard must download from the PCAWA website, complete and return to the PCAWA Office, a nomination form.  Nomination forms may be completed at any time of year, however for nominations received after 1st May 2015, only results from the immediately preceding 2 months will be credited forward.

SCORING  Points for 1st to 6th will be allocated as per below

EQUALITY OF POINTS  When there is an equality of points at the end of the series then the factors that will determine the final placing are; 1. Highest aggregate points score (Number of points earned divided by number of events attended) 2. Highest aggregate completion score (Total of all completion scores divided by number of events attended).

HORSE/PONY NAMES  Points will only be credited to a mount on the proviso that the name on the results matches that listed on the nomination form. It is the members responsibility to ensure that the correct name is listed on the entry forms for events.

DISCIPLINARY ACTION  If a Member is reported three times on the official PCAWA Disciplinary Action form by a PCAWA Official within the one season then they will forfeit their right to participate in the Series  If a Member is suspended by PCAWA for any period of time, they will forfeit their right to participate in the Series.

UPGRADING  Only one set of Upgrade points will be awarded in any one series season, regardless of the upgrade category.  Upgrade points will only be credited after two qualifying runs at the higher grade.  Points gained in a lower grade cannot be carried up into a higher grade

DOWNGRADING  Members may downgrade at any time throughout the Series but entry at a lower level constitutes immediate forfeiture of any upgrade or leaderboard points earned at the higher grade.

RESULTS:  Will be published at least 21 days prior to the scheduled presentation date.  Consideration to investigation or appeals will only be afforded if the ESC receives the query within 7 days of the final results being posted.

PRESENTATION  Awards for the 2015 Series will be presented at the 2015 PCAWA AGM (Date TBA)

AWARDS  Rugs to winners of each class.  Vouchers to all place getters**.  Rosettes 1st to 6th.  “ Bustin Thru” Strongest club trophy (this is for the club with the highest percentage of riders competing)  Level of awards may vary and is at the discretion of the PCAWA Office however total cost of awards will be at least 75% of revenue raised.
