When : April 23, 2016 at 8:00 AM Where : Uptown Station, 99 Eglin Pkwy NE, Fort Walton Beach, Florida 32548

Course: Starts on Hughes St heading towards Ferry Rd. At Walton Dr. turn left onto Walton Dr. At Yacht Club Dr. turn left onto Yacht Club Dr. Follow Yacht Club Drive to Nebraska Ave.. Turn left onto Nebraska Ave. then turn left onto Clements St.. Turn right onto Graham Cr. When Graham Cr and Oregon Dr intersect you will turn around and follow this course in reverse until you come to the back entrance to Uptown Station behind Buffalo Wild Wings. Finish line will be here. Awards: All awards will be presented at Uptown Station. Overall male/female, master male/female and grandmaster for the 5K Run/Walk. Awards will be presented to the top 3 male and female runners in the following age groups: 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 +. Walking winners include: overall male and female adult (over 18) and overall male and female juvenile (under 18) Post Race: Awards will be at Uptown Station at the conclusion of the race.

Entry Fees: Early registration through April 20, 2016. Day of race -registration from 6:30-7:45am

Early 5K just Run/Walk entry $25.00 Late and Race day Run/Walk entry $30.00

Student Run/Walk entry $10.00

NWFTC Members will receive a $2.00 discount for the 5K. There will be a special discount for groups of ten or more. Contact the race director. T-shirt presented to the first 150 entries. I know competing in a 5K run/walk is a potential hazardous activity. I should not enter unless I’m medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decisions of the race officials relative to my ability to safely compete in this event. I, the undersigned, release and forever discharge the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and sponsored program Explorer Post #543, the Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers, the city of Fort Walton Beach, the Northwest Florida Track Club, owners and businesses within and of Uptown Station and all gents, representatives and employees thereof, and their successors, from any and all claims and damage whatsoever which I, my heirs, their executors, and administrators have or may have against the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and sponsored program Explorer Post #543, the Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers, the city of Fort Walton Beach, and the NWFTC, its agents, representatives or employees by reason of damage or injuries which may be incurred by myself while participating in the activities sponsored by the 5K run/walk.
