Here Is Our Supply List

Hello New Second Grader! I look forward to our year together! In the meantime, you can get ready for second grade by reading a lot of fun books, writing about your summer days in a journal, and practicing your counting, adding, and subtracting. Below you will find a supply list that will help our classroom get prepared for your busy year in second grade. Have a super summer!

Mrs. Hernandez’ Second Grade Supply List Individual Student Supplies  Small pencil box to hold crayons, markers, and scissors  2 boxes of 24 Crayola crayons (Crayola brand has more color)  2 boxes of Crayola Colored pencils  1 box of Crayola washable markers (No Rose Art)  1 sturdy pocket folder for daily use  1 pair of scissors- FISKAR brand is best  1 spiral notebook (school-paper size, about 8X11inches)

Items to be shared in class:  2-3 packages of #2 pencils sharpened- Ticonderoga Brand please  1-2 rolls of paper towels  2-3 reams of white copy paper  1 box - EXPO dry erase markers  2-3 glue sticks (no Rose Art)  2 packs of notebook paper- wide ruled please  Girls- 1 bottle of hand sanitizer, 2 boxes of facial tissue  Boys- 1 bottle of liquid soap, 2 containers of disinfectant wipes  $6.00 for Scholastic News Magazine ($6.00 covers magazine plus shipping and handling) - Place in envelope with your child’s name.
