Fringe Benefit Information - Certified Employees

Leave for Which Pay will be Received

Within this category, certified staff will be provided nine (9) days of paid leave per year. The unused leave days each will accumulate. The accumulation will be unlimited and the accumulated leave may be used in subsequent years.

Reasons for Leave Include the Following Personal Illness Maternity Leave Family Illness Paternity Leave Bereavement Leave Adoptive Leave Military Leave

Personal Leave Two personal days each year is granted to each employee. This leave will be allowed to accumulate up to a maximum of five (5) days. If maximum of five (5) days is reached, the extra days will roll over to sick leave. Notification for use of personal day(s) must be made in writing to the building administrator two days in advance, unless the situation is an emergency.

Personal days cannot be taken on the day immediately preceding or following a scheduled school holiday or required Professional Development/Collaboration days.

Advanced Professional (University Degree) Leave One day each year may be granted to certified personnel for the arrangement of their advanced professional training with the approval of the Superintendent. There is no accumulation of professional leave.

Leave for Jury Duty

Professional Development Leave Leave for professional development purposes will not be docked if prior approval is secured from the building administrator.

On the Job Incentive Policy

Teachers receive $50.00 per day for each of the 9 unused sick leave days and the 2 unused personal days. Total stipend possible is $550.00, paid on the first banking day of July. Camdenton R-III School District

Fringe Benefit Information - Certified Employees

Compensation for Unused Paid Leave Employees covered by the sick leave policy for Camdenton R-III School District, when retiring or resigning from the system, will be paid for any unused sick and personal leave. These same benefits will go to nearest survivor should one of the employees die while under contract to the Camdenton R-III School District.

They will be paid at the following rates:

Teacher Service in the Amount Paid per day for Camdenton District Unused Sick Leave 2-1/2 to 4 years $22.50 4 to 9 years 29.25 9 to 16 years 36.00 16 or more years 45.00

Sick Leave Donation All contracted Camdenton R-III certificated personnel who qualify under the sick leave and personal leave policy are covered under this plan.

Any certificated employee may donate up to five (5) days annually to another certificated employee who has used up all of his/her sick leave days for unusual and lengthy absences due to serious illness or accident. No recipient of donated sick leave days may accept and use more than 90 such days in any one school year.

Donations must be deducted from current year’s available leave days before accumulated leave days from previous years may be used. Application for use of the sick leave donation policy shall be made to the Superintendent of Schools in writing. (Board Policy GCBDAA)

Career Ladder Camdenton R-III teachers with five (5) or more years of Missouri public school teaching experience will qualify for Stage I on the Camdenton Career Ladder Plan for the school year. Stage I participants will receive $1,050 for the completion of their plan, Stage 2 $2,100, and Stage 3 $3,500.

PSRS Retirement Match

Teacher contributes 14.5% and District matches 14.5%. Camdenton R-III School District

Direct Deposit of Pay Checks

Employees are paid 12 equal compensations on the first banking day of the month.

Extra Pay

Extra Duty Pay $9.50 per hour. Curriculum Work and Professional Development Presentations $20.50 per hour.

Flex Benefit Account

Voluntary Program that you can contribute a minimum amount of $25.00 per month, the total being an amount you think you will use in a contract year on a pre-taxed basis. You use the funds for child care, dental and medical expenses not covered by health insurance. Expenses must be tax-qualified under current IRS regulations. Any unused funds will be forfeited at the end of the contract.
