Dear Members and Parents:

Welcome to our 3rd Annual Awards Banquet. 2007 was an exciting season. Looking back, CKG Tour has much to be grateful for as it has grown by leaps and bounds. Because of your support and loyalty we have accomplished the following:

. Since 2005, CKG Tour has hosted about 200 tournaments.

. In 2006-2007, CKG Tour organized and took a California Team to compete in the 2007 World Youth Team Challenge in Bollingbrook, Illinois.

. In 2007, CKG Tour became an event organization to host a district qualifier for Optimist International Junior Golf Championship.

. In 2007, CKG Tour became affiliated with National Junior Golf Scoreboard to host ranked tournaments.

. In 2007, CKG Tour was the catalyst in organizing a team event now known as “Pacific Southwest Cup,” and hosted the first event at Green River Golf Course on September 1-3, 2007. This event was attended by six teams from Texas, Nevada, Northern California, San Diego Junior Golf and CKG LA and CKG Orange County. Our goal to keep this event going has come to fruition as other teams have lined up to host this event: Team Texas in 2008; Team Northern California in 2009; Team South Nevada in 2010 and Team Mexico in 2011. . In 2007, CKG Tour explored the possibility of hosting a World Championship event in Myrtle Beach. As soon as we hooked up with Signature Golf Packages, all good things started to fall into place. This event is now set and scheduled on August 6-10, 2008 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

. In December 2007, CKG Tour made affiliation with Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour to co-host the 2008 Canada International Friendship Cup to be held on August 20, 21, 22, 2008 at Northview Golf & Country Club in Surrey, British Columbia.

We have so many more exciting events planned for you. It is our joy to serve you. It is a great honor to be a part of an endeavor to nurture young children in helping them develop into confident, strong and great citizens through the great game of golf.

Thank you for being with us.

Sincerely,

Eve Bonham Managing Director 2007 AWARDS RECIPIENTS 2007 Spring/Summer Season

ALL STARS Anthony Dao 2007 Most Improved Player BELLA SETIO

We are thrilled to see the progress of our players. Most of our members have grown stronger with their games. Bella Setio, a seven-old, stood out the most this year with her tremendous improvement.

Through the recommendation of her coach, Tommy Lin (at Alhambra G.C.), Bella was first introduced to tournament golf during our 2-day event on January 13-14, 2007. The first day at Alhambra Golf Course, she shot 81. The second day at Altadena Golf Course she shot 77. In February, her scores improved to low 60’s, in March her scores were down to 50’s and in April she started posting scores in the 40’s. She consistently shot in the low 40’s during the Fall Season.

On November 3rd,,, our tournament at El Cariso Golf Course, where the greens were fast and most players were having troubles, Bella made a turning point and shot 37. From then on, her first event which was only in January became a faded memory. From CKG Tour, to U.S. Kids Local Tour in Nevada, she continued to post more scores in the 30’s.

In December 2007, her family took a bold move and entered her in PARS Florida International Championship. During this event, Bella met and competed with strong players from all over the world (mostly eight years old) who have years of experience competing on world events. And though she was the youngest in the field and the least experience, she competed with no fear. After the first round, she was tied in first place. After three rounds, she finished respectively in third place (one shot shy from second place), and earned an exemption for the Callaway Junior World.

Through her diligence, love of the game and remarkable support of her family, in less than a year, Bella has become a world-class player.

*She won “Player of the Year” in U.S. Kids Local Tour in Nevada and earned an exemption to go to the U.S. Kids World Championship in Pinehurst, NC and the European Championship in Scotland. Her family plans to take her to all these events including the CKG Tour World Championship in Myrtle Beach, SC.
