Oakhurst Market Mural : 7:16-7:20

The ONA is working with the Decatur Arts Alliance and looking into restoring the neighborhood mural located on the west wall of Oakhurst Market.

Oakhurst Street Improvements : 7:21-7:23

Deputy City Manager Hugh Saxton is forecasting a November 2015 completion date for the Oakhurst street improvements.

Decatur Police Report – Deputy Chief Keith Lee : 7:24-7:31 . April, May, and June Crime Report . Decatur Police Bicycle Registration 7/14/2015 at the Decatur Recreation Center, 231 Sycamore Street, Decatur, GA 30030 . Registration of motorized scooters (under 50cc) is also available . Bring your bike or scooter to the DPD station and theywill register it anytime . Registration open for City of Decatur Citizen's Police Academy Decatur BBQ, Blues, and Bluegrass : 7:32-7:33

Hop-N-Shop Redevelopment – Asif Hussain 7:34-7:51 . Asif Hussain, owner of Hop-N-Shop, came to the meeting to discuss the idea of redeveloping the Hop-N-Shop building. Update ideas to the property include adding a 2nd story for residential apartment units, an outdoor space, and bike rakes.

Snap Fitness Decatur : 7:52-7:53 . Lana Harrison, General Manager, came to the meeting to promote Snap Fitness Decatur. Members will have access to Agnes Scott swimming pool!

Open Forum : 7:54-8:00 . ONA Membership - Please contact the ONA at [email protected] if you would like to join. Membership levels are $10, $25, and $50 a year. . Oakhurst Dog Park - City of Decatur denied Weaver Capital Partners subdivision request. Alos, the deal between Weaver and The Boys & Girls Club fell through. . REMINDER to Oakhurst residence - Please keep your neighbors safe by trimming low hanging branches and overgrown bushes back from the sidewalks! . Team Decatur - Team Decatur Kick-off and Health Expo is tonight from 5:00-7:30 at the Decatur Rec Center. . City of Decatur Trees 101 - The City of Decatur is offering a Trees 101 course with arborist India Woodson from 10:00 AM until noon at Woodlands Garden on July 25th . City of Decatur High Performance Building Standards Training - The City of Decatur is reaching out to all builders and contractors who have previously done work in the City of Decatur to participate in a training session for the newly adopted High Performance Building Standards. Any residents, real estate professionals or business owners interested in these standards are encouraged to attend a meeting following the contractor training at 6:00 pm.
