VA MEDICAL CENTER TO CONDUCT OUTREACH AT CHEROKEE NATION HOLIDAY CELEBRATION

The Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center (JCMVAMC) will join the Cherokee Nation in celebrating the 60th Annual Cherokee National Holiday on Sept. 1 in Tahlequah and will also conduct outreach to educate Veterans about VA benefits and services.

JCMVAMC representatives will attend the Cherokee Nation Veterans Reception, which is scheduled for 4 – 6 p.m. at the Sequoyah Schools’ Place Where They Play, and will distribute information about VA services and benefits for all Veterans including programs for Native

American, Women and homeless Veterans.

Veterans will also be able to enroll for My HealtheVet, VA’s award–winning e–health website, which offers Veterans, active duty service members, their dependents and caregivers anywhere, anytime Internet access to VA health care information and services.
