I acknowledge that I have received a copy of Central Freight Lines, Inc.’s Employee Handbook. I understand that it is my responsibility to read the information provided as well as any future revisions. I realize that the policies and procedures contained in this employee manual are intended as guidelines only and do not create any type of contract of employment, nor is there any contractual arrangement between Central Freight Lines, Inc. and myself. Only the Company President and Chief Financial Officer have the authority to modify the “at will” employment arrangement between me and Central Freight Lines, Inc., and any modification must be stated in a written agreement, signed by me, the President of CFL, and CFL’s Chief Financial Officer.

VACATION AND ADVANCE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I understand the time off I request and take each year may include actual vacation time I have earned and/or an advance of wages toward the vacation time I have not earned. This advance of wages will be reduced by vacation time earned on my next anniversary date.

I further understand that should I terminate my employment with CFL, any unused, earned vacation time due to me will be paid on my final check.

At the time of my separation from employment, I authorize CFL to deduct the balance due for any advanced wages I received which are due to CFL for vacation time I used but had not earned.
