MINI UPDATE AUG. 30th, 2017
Training
There will be a training session at Hawrelak Park at 10.30 this Saturday, Sept. 2nd. Only a few people have let me know they are going to St Paul and a number of other athletes have asked for a training session that day so, contrary to what was announced earlier, there will be training on Saturday.
No training Monday, Sept. 4th (long weekend)
Regular training schedule starts Tuesday, Sept. 5th
Mon., Tue, Wed (George’s group), Thur at 4.30 at Hawrelak Park, Saturday 10.30 at Hawrelak (Phil’s group)

St Paul Rodeo Mile
Good luck to the Harriers who are heading to St. Paul for the Rodeo Mile this weekend. Maddie & Mike Ford, Olivia, Layla and Samara have let me know that they will be there. Be careful on the UFO Landing Pad – we don’t want to have you abducted.

Congratulations to Cole Peterson who represented Canada in the World University (FISU) Games in Taiwan. Cole did extremely well, not only to make the Canadian team but to qualify for the final race where he finished 10th. Well done, Cole. Hope it was a great experience.
Membership 2017-2018
A reminder that if you receive this mini update as all members do, but do not plan to be members of the club next year we would appreciate knowing that in advance of the Registration/Info night. The meeting will be held in classroom #4 at the Saville Sports Centre at 7 pm on Thursday Sept 7th. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
