Current Events Assignments for Driver S Education

 Find a current article that occurred in the past month and relates to Driver’s Education in New Jersey.

 You may use a newspaper, magazine, or a validated internet source. o The article must be neatly cut out or printed off of the internet. o You must attach the article to a piece of paper; NO OVERHANG!! o You may attach the article to the back of your summary.

 Please include the following in your “Heading.” o Your name o The due date o The topic of the article o The source of your article

 On the back of the paper with the article or on a separate (but attached) piece of paper please write the following: o A one paragraph summary of the article. Be sure it is in your own words; do not just recopy the article. . What is the main topic of the article and how does it relate to driver education. . What do you find interesting about the article? . How do you feel about the information in the article? . Give me your views; do you have an opinion about what is in the article?

 Remember that a paragraph is defined as 5 or more sentences. Anything shorter will not be extra credit.

 This assignment must be TYPED - not hand written.

 This assignment will be DUE and PRESENTED to the class the Friday immediately after a missed assignment. No later Please!  One Current Event, if done correctly is the same amount of points for each Study Guide due that week.
