RE: APPLICATION FOR THE POSITION OF PROCUREMENT OFFICER I am hereby applying for the position of Procurement officer. I am a female aged 24 years old and holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing and supply from the Copperbelt University with a credit. I am currently working for Vodafone Zambia as a customer champion where I have one year experience. I am the direct contact with customers where I provide information, resolve queries and cross sell company products and services. I worked with Copperbelt Energy Corporation in 2013, where I did my industrial attachment, I was given the opportunity to work in their Procurement department, where I undertook the procurement process from the requisition point to the preparation of purchase orders and Contracts etc. I also participated in the Vendor selection process and tender processes to select suitable qualified vendors. I believe this knowledge coupled with my academic experience makes me the best candidate for this position. My Salary expectation is ZMW8000 net pay. I have excellent supervisory and interpersonal attributes that will enable me undertake both short-term and long-term goals required by the organization.
