Background:
Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international humanitarian medical aid organization working in more than 65 countries worldwide. Médecins Sans Frontières is neutral, impartial, independent and not linked to any political party or governmental body. It provides emergency medical assistance to people in need, irrespective of their nationality, race or religion. In 1996, MSF received the Indira Gandhi Prize for Peace, Disarmament and Development and in 1999 MSF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. MSF has worked in India since 1999 and provides medical treatment to hundreds of thousands of Indian patients.
MSF provides free-of-charge essential healthcare. MSF runs hospitals and clinics, perform surgery, fight epidemics, operate feeding centres for malnourished children and offer mental healthcare. MSF currently runs projects in the states of Bihar, Manipur, Maharashtra, Jammu & Kashmir, Chhattisgarh and Telangana. MSF India is one of 24 offices and operational centres in Europe, America, Asia and Australasia, pooling funding, expertise and staff for MSF field operations. MSF India has three key objectives in support of field operations: the recruitment of skilled medical and non-medical staff, the raising of vital funds, and public information work.

Position Title Expat Support Officer Division / Function HR

Administrative Reporting to: HR Field Support Coordinator Functional Reporting to: Head – HR & Recruitment
1. JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for the management of Field and office Human Resources Administration, Field volunteer support (pre and post mission support) and general administrative work in the HR department to facilitate the timely departure of expatriates from South Asia for their missions. Responsible for processing applications for field volunteering up to the assessment stage
2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Expected End Results (“WHAT”) Supporting Activities (“HOW”)
Provide support to field volunteers Executes all administrative arrival and departure from South Asia to facilitate their procedures of volunteers. timely departure Communicate all pre-departure information to the volunteers Responsible for all travel, visa, legalization of documents and other related activities of field volunteer Organize all administrational briefing and debriefings with field volunteers with HQ and Communications Department, FR, Associations, PSU.

Key Performance Indicators . First response to field applications within 3 working days . Minimum 1 open financial advance a month . No delay in travel departures for field staff and office staff . Updated database and timely statistics . 12 monthly applications overview reports . 12 monthly travel statistics with update on any deviations . 12 End of Mission reports . Annual HR data matrix

Requirements
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical . Minimum Graduate degree in Management or equivalent field from a Skills reputed institute

We offer:
Salary Gross INR 35033 per month
15 days annual leave; 12 days paid leave as per specified list of holidays; Sick/Casual leave of 12 working days as per calendar year (pro-rated based on hire date).
