(12:00noon – 3:30pm) Local Evaluation Team & Leadership Team meet at High School in the Conference Room (list name of room)

12:00noon Light Lunch

12:30pm - Welcome to Team by HSE Teachers  Introductions of administrators, school team  Self Introduction of leadership team and local health care professional team (sharing healthcare background)  Administrator provides a brief presentation about the High School programs/opportunities.  Healthcare Science Education (HSE) Teachers provide presentation on their HSE Program 12:50pm Overview of Evaluation Activities by Sharon Norman and HSE Teachers: Agenda Review – Duties and Assignments of team Overview: Program Operational Standards (POS) - Program Pathways & Courses / Curriculum Standards: Overview by Teachers of the Georgia Healthcare Science Pathway and Courses taught and the three standards per Course for each course taught by the teacher(s) being showcased. And the Process set up for the review of documents as evidence to meet standards. Brief overview of electronic process. 1:00pm Brief Tour of HSE classrooms and lab areas with teachers

1:15pm Start evaluation activities by local healthcare evaluation team Brief overview of electronic process, setting the healthcare professional up at computer or tablet to review supporting documents online, and printing of final report, with signature of reviewer.  Review the POS (Standards) Two team members; one assigned to review Sections, I, II, V, & VI; another assigned to review Sections III & IV, will go to classroom with teacher to check Facilities and Equipment standards. Teacher will assist with identification of locations of equipment & supplies to ensure quick, smooth check of the classroom, supply room, office, etc & Lab (facilities set up for Pathways taught), and the Equipment & Supplies.) Assignments are made by teacher from the local healthcare professionals on team as invited and secured by the HSE teacher. Team member to review POS I, II, V, & VI: (list team member) Team member to review POS III & IV: (list team member)

 Review the courses - PCS/GPS (Standards). Team members will review one or two courses / documentation each, such as one team for Intro and Essentials, and one team member for your Specialty courses (list your courses, such as Patient Care, etc.) Assignments are made by teacher and Sharon Norman from the local healthcare professionals on team as invited and secured by the HSE teacher. Team member to review Introduction & Essentials: (list team member) Team member(s) to review 3rd & 4th Courses - (list team member) (such as Patient Care Technician, Sports Medicine, Emergency Medical Responder, etc)

Student Interviews by healthcare professional team member, as assigned (The teacher will coordinate these students and place for the following interviews.) 1:15pm: In separate conference room, Begin Student Interviews of 9 students, 3 students at a time. (A List of these students will be provided to the assigned team member by the HSE Teacher.) Times: 1:15pm-1:35pm - 3 first course students, then 1:40p-2:00pm - 3 second course students, then 2:05p-2:25pm: 3 third course/advanced and former students Students will be brought down to the designated room by school staff, as coordinated by teacher. Team member assigned for interview: (list team member)

1:15pm Counselor Interview by assigned team member (This local team member will join the student interviews after the Counselor Interview is completed.) Team member assigned for interview: (list team member)

1:30pm: In the Principal’s Office, Interview Administrators/Directors by Phyllis Johnson or Sharon Norman

2:30pm Evaluation Team meets to discuss interviews and findings (without the teachers or administrators). School/Teacher coordinates that two copies are made of the full report (Agenda, Application, POS & Course forms/ evaluation sheets, Interview forms) for the HSE teacher/School and Ga DOE. Original report is kept by Sharon Norman.

2:45pm-3:15pm Final Report by local healthcare professionals team, Sharon Norman and Phyllis Johnson: Joined by the Teachers and the Administrators, the Evaluation Team provides oral reports on their findings.

(Review of findings, any recommendations or suggestions with all Standards documentation found in place, and if recommended for certification. Or, if all documentation is not found, identification of team members who will review documentation needed.) 4
