Whether you are updating a current facility or building a new funeral home the needs and requests of families in service will be highlighted in this progressive presentation. 3:00 p.m. “The Psychology of the Funeral Arrangement” Rudy Lerner of Chesed v'Emet, LLC (1 CEU)

This interactive session will present an overview of the various forms of loss as well some of the physical, behavioral, and emotional responses experienced after the death of a loved one. In addition, participants will learn how these responses affect the funeral arrangement process. Finally, participants will receive tips on how best to deal with mourners to make funeral arranging less stressful and more productive for both the funeral director and the family. Cancellations/substitutions: Registration cancellation requests received by November 1, 2013, will be eligible for a refund. All cancellation requests must be made in writing. Please note that there are NO REFUNDS AFTER NOVEMBER 1, 2013. Postmark determines the date. Registrants unable to attend may send a substitute.
