Hello First Grade!

Hello First Grade!

I hope you are having a wonderful summer with your family! You are probably having fun, reading and practicing your math facts. I am sure you have been swimming, riding your bike and playing games too. I have had fun as well! I have been swimming, hiking, boating, swimming, and going to Hershey Park with my own children!

I will be heading back to school soon to get our classroom ready! I thought I would write you a letter to tell you how excited I am for the first day of school. I can’t wait to see you! We are going to have so much fun this year in first grade. We will be sharing many stories and have fun writing. We will be playing some excellent math games! We will also learn new things in science and social studies together. You will see some old friends in our class and make new friends too.

I have also included our supply list. If you have your supplies, you can bring it in all at once on the first day or a little at a time the first week, whichever is easier for you.

If you or your family wants to write me a letter, I would love to learn about anything that you’d like me to know about you. You can mail it to Saint Leo the Great School, email me at [email protected] or bring it with you during the first week of school.

When you come to school on the first day, I will be waiting for you. We are going to have a great year! We will be meeting new people, learning new names, making new friends, and helping each other grow in our love of Jesus. I am looking forward to seeing you! I hope you enjoy these last weeks of vacation!
