Tyco Electronics and Network Integrity Systems Combine Technologies to Advance Network Infrastructure Security

WASHINGTON (Mar. 22, 2010) – Tyco Electronics and Network Integrity Systems (NIS) are bringing together two state-of-the-art technologies to deliver an unprecedented level of security for classified government networks. The two companies will demo this solution at FOSE in Washington, D.C., March 23-25.

Tyco Electronics will offer NIS’s Interceptor™ alarmed carrier protected distribution system (PDS) to complement its’ AMPTRAC intelligent infrastructure management system (IIMS) to secure classified networks from end to end.

AMPTRAC IIMS bridges the gap between network management software and physical layer management – enabling the management and troubleshooting of network connectivity with real- time monitoring and documentation.
