E1 Beat:

 Four thefts from vehicles occurred during the overnight hours on several nights during this time period. The four incidents (involving five vehicles) were reported in residential neighborhoods in Bethesda; mostly those bordering DC (Chevy Chase Boulevard, Bradley Boulevard, Bayard Boulevard, and Worthington Drive.) One vehicle was found with forced entry, the rest had all been left unsecured. Vehicles were searched and loose valuables (cash, GPS, glasses etc.) were taken.

E2 Beat:

 Four thefts from vehicles occurred overnight in Bethesda from Wednesday, 5/22 to Thursday, 5/23. The incidents occurred in residential neighborhoods in Oakmont (two on Southwick Street, one on Sonoma Road, and one on Singleton Drive.) Three vehicles were entered by force, and one vehicle had been left unsecured. Vehicles were searched and any loose valuables (cash, GPS, glasses etc.) were taken.

 An attempted robbery occurred at the Days Inn, 8040 13th Street in Silver Spring on Wednesday, 5/29 at 1:43 a.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.

Suspects: (2) B/M’s, each in a black mask & black clothing

 An indecent exposure incident occurred in a garage elevator at 921 Wayne Avenue in Silver Spring on Thursday, 5/23 at 9:25 a.m. The suspect exposed himself to the victim.

Suspect: A/M, 5’7” & 140 lbs., thin build; wearing white T-shirt and dark dress pants

 A sexual assault occurred in the 11200 block of Oak Leaf Drive in Silver Spring on Saturday, 5/25 between 4:40 p.m. and 9:09 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.

 A bank robbery occurred at the Capitol One Bank at 11261 New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring on Thursday, 5/23 at 1:40 p.m. A press release was issued regarding this incident.

 A residential burglary occurred on Friday, 5/24 at 7:06 p.m. in the 12900 block of Kilgore Road in Silver Spring. No further information is available at this time.

 Eleven thefts from vehicles occurred between Monday, 5/20 and Friday, 5/24 during the late evening to early morning hours. Eight of the incidents occurred in the Calverton area and entry was forced in six of the incidents. Items stolen included GPS systems, cash, cell phones and sunglasses. Streets targeted included Gracefield Road (3 incidents), Broadmore Road (2 incidents), Summerwood Drive (2 incidents), Sandstone Court, Herrington Manor Drive, Canberra Street and Kilkenny Street in Silver Spring.

 A strong-arm robbery occurred at Briggs and Saddlebrook, Glenmont on Tuesday, 5/28 at 10:00 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.

 A commercial burglary occurred at 300 Olney Sandy Spring Road, Sandy Spring overnight between Wednesday, 5/22 and Thursday, 5/23. Entry was forced into a storage container next to the football field at Sherwood High School; nothing taken.
