POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary function of this position is to manage the continuous improvement of supplier component part process control and provide inspection data using metrology methodologies.
Oversee and develop Metrology Lab staff Ensure compliance to Stoneridge's Business, Quality and Environmental Management System Maintain lab capability to support Stoneridge's engineering needs Continuously monitor supplier data and report information to Supplier Quality Agent Oversee completion of Annual layouts for finished goods and component parts Maintain quality and performance measurables (Supplier Audits, monthly inspections, DPU, MDR’s, SCAR’s, etc.) Provide metrology/inspection methodology input and/or support to manufacturing and the component parts suppliers. Provide support to meet the Division's goals and objectives Manages aging Metric for incoming inspection material to ensure product is released in a timely manner for production Review, Approve and Dispose Supplier PPAP's
