Fine Arts- 1 semester This course will engage scholars in sequential learning experiences that will encompass art. Scholars will be able to express themselves by creating their own personal art pieces. Physical Education- 1 semester Physical Education is a state requirement to teach scholars how to maintain fitness and how to perform the necessary skills to participate in activities. In addition, scholars will study the basics of nutrition. Spanish- 1 semester Spanish is a state requirement course for scholars to build a foundation on a foreign language. Scholars will engage in a Spanish course each semester which will allow them to experience the culture and language through learning how to create conversations, form independent ideas, and practice writing.
