1.0 Purpose

1.1 To outline a new procedure that will essentially replace the forced order form. This procedure will hold the CSR responsible for recreating the username back into the mail system and ICMS and ensure consistency between both systems.

2.1 Prerequisites

2.1.1 Through ICMS and checkuser the CSR will determine if a nerf ticket is necessary to remove unnecessary data from the mail server to reenter a master email account into ICMS.

3.0 Method

3.1 Steps to be taken.

3.1.1 Use Checkuser to verify if the username is available first.

If the username is available then enter the username accordingly.

If the username is not available or there is any information about that username still in checkuser:

Enter NERF

Account Maintenance

Delete Account from IS

Enter in username

Enter current ICMS status

3.1.3 The CSR will enter back into ICMS with a NII order.

Enter a NII order.

4.0 VQCR as the S&E codes for residential customers

5.0 VQCB (using the company name or domain) for a business account

6.0 VQCM for a Corporate account (using the company name or domain)

* This will remove all data from the mail server including stored emails. **Dialup customers will be entered as normal using the proper S&E codes.

Important: This applies to Master email account only. Sub- Accounts should be done through the “Manage My Email Accounts” access on MyCTC.net web site.

7.1.2 Systems Nerf - New Engineering Request Form

7.1.3 Highlighted Terms Residential - Customer with Internet service within their home. Business - Customer will Internet service with their place of business. Corporate - Customer with “Business-type” Internet service(s) not including Broadband, DSL or regular dialup.
