RE: International Designated ISem Courses [Summer 2011]

Those new ISem courses that have been created out of Core Discovery courses that carried the “I” International designation (and that are listed in the current catalog as doing so) should continue to do so and should be added to the list of International courses appearing in the catalog. UCGE proposes that the following ISem courses carry the “International” designation:
ISem 101-16 & 17 Globalization ISem 101-81 & 82 The Sacred Journey ISem 101-36 & 37 The Movies, The World & You ISem 101-50 War & Our World
Rationale: The new ISem course created by UCC normally will not carry the “international” designation, but in order to accommodate students operating under the current and earlier catalogs, we propose extending the designation to those courses listed above. We do not expect that these specific ISem courses will be offered beyond next year.
