The Albemarle County Sheriff’s Office Foundation SHERIFF’S POSSE GOLF ROUND-UP 2017

The Albemarle County Sheriff’s Office Foundation will host its 6th Annual “Sheriff’s Posse Golf Roundup” on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Old Trail Golf Club in Crozet, Virginia. The captain’s choice tournament is the premier fundraising event for the Foundation. Proceeds from the tournament, held since 2012, have provided over $170,000 in necessary funding for the Sheriff’s Office programs, including the purchase of a trailer to house and transport equipment for Search and Rescue, a truck to pull the trailer, and program funds and support for the reservists.

Proceeds from the 2017 tournament will support programs not funded by the county’s budget and will focus on programs that rely on volunteers. Funding from the tournament will provide uniforms and body armor for the reserves and essential equipment for search and rescue, Funding from the tournament will also allow Project Lifesaver to provide devices to individuals with autism and Alzheimer’s disease or dementia which will allow the trained reserves to locate them should they become lost or wander from home.

Enclosed you will find an Albemarle County Sheriff’s Office Foundation Donation Form. The form provides information about the sponsorship levels for the golf tournament. Corporate sponsorships are crucial to the success of our tournament and will help to propel the activities of the Sheriff’s Office into the next level. We ask you to consider the sponsorship levels and to pledge to be a sponsor of the 2017 tournament.

The tournament will kick off at 8:00 am on May 12, with both a morning and an afternoon start. An incredible meal will be served following each round. Following the afternoon tournament, an awards and recognition reception will be held. The highest sponsorship levels include the opportunity to host a team or teams in addition to opportunities for name recognition through our web site, Facebook, and at the tournament. Please see the form for details.
