Call for Presentations Due August 15, 2011

inspire. serve. advocate. Submission Requirement Submissions must be received by August 15, 2011. Only e-mailed submissions will be accepted.

 Submissions should include the two page completed application form.  More than one presentation may be submitted by an individual or group.  LeadingAge Oklahoma reserves the right to combine proposed topics and presenters.  Submissions may be for presentations by individuals or panels.  Submissions will receive an e-mail confirmation (e-mail address required). Only selected submissions will be notified by October 1, 2011. Presentation Format and Review Process Submissions will be reviewed by LeadingAge Oklahoma. Special attention will be given to those responses with innovative ideas and potential solutions for current issues facing aging service providers. These are the criteria for selection:

 Relevant content for an experienced audience that stretches thinking and provides new approaches  Content which is delivered in an engaging way and draws on the experience of the attendees  Presenter Qualifications  Practical Applications and Tools that can be applied immediately in their organization  Quality and Timeliness of Content  Relevance to current issues relating to all disciplines of aging services. Presenter Agreement Presenters who are selected agree to: (1) Submit any handouts no later than February 15, 2012. Handouts must be e-mailed in electronic format to include the presention outline and only content that is directly applicable to the presetation outline. (2) Read, sign, and return the Speaker Contract within 30 days of receipt of contract.

The LeadingAge Oklahoma Conference is attended by CEO’s, Senior Housing Managers, Assisted Living Directors, Social Services Directors, Administrators, Service Coordinators, Dietary Managers, Activity Directors, Directors of Nursing, Residential Care Directors, Adult Day Health Providers, and Housekeeping & Maintenance Supervisors.

Key staff of all types of aging service providers will attend including nursing facilities, senior housing, continuing care retirement communities, assisted living facilities, multi-facility organizations, and home and community-based service organizations.

Speaker Reimbursement Policy Reimbursement for honoraria, travel and expenses is not included with the acceptance of presentation. Conference registration is included on the day of your presentation. Topics may include (but are not limited to):
