The illusion of reality in Johnson’s human scale figures invites intimacy – a response and an interaction not present in other forms of art. Visit the sculpture exhibition, Beyond the Frame: Impressionism Revisited, which is being presented at the Alamance County Arts Council, 213 S. Main Street in Graham and Proponent Federal Credit Union, 3504 Forestdale Drive, Burlington during the months of August, September and October. Record your impressions photographically and submit them to Camcor for the opportunity to win great prizes. Entry Submit Photos beginning August 1 until: Noon on October 17, 2011 Submit Photos to: The Camcor retail store at 2273 South Church Street, Burlington, NC Prizes: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and honorable mention winners in both the Adult and Youth divisions will receive Camcor gift certificates in the following amounts: 1st: $200 Gift Certificate and a 16x24 3rd: $75 Gift Certificate and a 8x10 Canvas Canvas Gallery Wrap (photo of your choice) Gallery Wrap (photo of your choice)

2nd: $100 Gift Certificate and a 11x14 Canvas Gallery Wrap (photo of your choice) Honorable Mention: $50 Gift Certificate and a 8x10 Print (photo of your choice) Rules 1. The Alamance County Arts Council and Camcor, Inc. photo contest is for amateur photographers. An amateur is anyone who derives less than 5% of their income from photography. 2. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges based on some or all of the following criteria: human interest, general appeal, uniqueness, composition and quality. Decisions of the judges will be final. 3. Black and white or color photographs are eligible. Photos must include a sculpture from the Beyond the Frame exhibition and must have been taken at the Arts Council or at Proponent FCU. PHOTOS CANNOT BE RETURNED. 4. Snapshots may be taken with any make of camera and may be processed and printed on any type of paper. PHOTOS MUST BE 4”x 6” IN SIZE. Digital photos may be submitted, but must be printed before submitting. No retouching or other alteration (except cropping) is permitted. No composite pictures or multiple printing can be submitted. The photo must have been taken by the person submitting the photo. You may enter as many photos as you like. 5. ALL ENTRIES ARE TO BE TAKEN IN PERSON TO THE CAMCOR RETAIL STORE at 2273 South Church Street in Burlington, NC. At that time, Camcor will generate an entry form to attach to the photo. Photos cannot be e-mailed or mailed. NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE ALAMANCE COUNTY ARTS COUNCIL OR PROPONENT FCU. 6. The judges will select the top four overall winners (first, second, third, an honorable mention) from each of two categories (adult and youth) to receive the top prizes. The last date and time photos will be accepted for judging is at noon on Monday, October 17, 2011. The winners will be announced on October 31st, by the Alamance County Arts Council. 7. Entrants, by entering the contest, release all copyright permissions and understand that the Alamance County Arts Council may reuse, reprint, and/or display their submitted pictures. Entrants also understand that, if they are a winner, they may be required to submit the original file or film in order for a larger reprint to be made. 8. Employees and immediate family members of the Alamance County Arts Council and Camcor, Inc. are not eligible to enter the contest. For the purpose of this contest, immediate family is anyone residing in the same household. 9.
