Payment of the application fee is also a form of agreement to the Terms and Conditions as set forth by EK Nanny-Maids.

EK Nanny-Maids has 3 fees that are the responsibility of the client to send to the agency:

Fee #1 is the Application fee; this is paid after submitting the application to EK Nanny- Maids. The agency will send to the client an invoice; once the invoice is paid the agency will begin searching for candidates to be interviewed by the client. Candidates will not be sent for interviews until the application fee is paid.

Fee #2 is the Employer’s Finder’s Fee; during the interview process salary is discussed between the candidates and the client. Once the client selects a candidate to begin employment, the salary, as well as hours of employment are agreed upon. Changes to either salary or days/hours of work within the first 3 weeks of employment are to be reported to EK Nanny-Maids. This fee is for using our services/agency. The salary of one complete workweek is the equivalent of Fee #2. By having submitted payment of Fee #1 the client agrees and is required to pay Fee #2 once a candidate begins employment with the client.

Fee #3 is the Nanny-Maid’s Fee; every potential Nanny-Maid signs an agreement with EK Nanny-Maids forfeiting their first full workweek’s salary to EK Nanny-Maids. The client should not pay the Nanny-Maid the first full workweek’s salary. The client is responsible for sending EK Nanny-Maids Fee #3 as well as Fee #2. If the client chooses to additionally pay any form of salary to the Nanny-Maid, it must be separate from the Nanny-Maid’s Fee to the agency. The Nanny-Maid cannot be held responsible to send Fee #3 with any salary given to them by the client in the first week. It is solely the responsibility of the client to send EK Nanny-Maids Fees #2 and #3 unless a different arrangement has been made and discussed with EK Nanny-Maids.

EK Nanny-Maids will send the client a billing statement within the first week of the Nanny- Maid hire, which must be signed, dated, and returned along with the payments as stated in said statement. This will include the total due by the client, as well as the address to submit payment and length of Replacement Guarantee offered by EK Nanny-Maids. The replacement guarantee does not go into effect until payment is received from the client to the agency. Any requests to pay EK Nanny-Maids in cash must be requested within the first two weeks of hire.

During the guarantee period Fee #2 is not resubmitted to the agency unless the client desires to extend their guarantee period in which case the client should contact EK Nanny-Maids to make the proper arrangements.

Fees #2 and #3 must be paid within two weeks of the hire date of the Nanny-Maid. Failure to send EK Nanny-Maids Fees #2 and #3 will be charged $20 for every week the fee is not received by the agency.

If the client has unforeseen circumstances for which the client asks to submit their payment late, such situations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed approval for delay of payment.

Any failure to submit the Fees under conditions stated are subject to collection in any form seen acceptable by EK Nanny-Maids and can include legal action.

EK Nanny-Maids and Liability EK Nanny-Maids is only a referral service and is not responsible for the direct or indirect actions and/or intentions of your employee while in your service. YOU are the employer. For any questions regarding this policy please contact us.

By signing this application, and by hiring any Nanny-Maid referred by EK Nanny-Maids you also accept that said agency will not be held liable for any loss, including and without limitation to: a direct or indirect loss of a loved one, consequential or incidental damages, long distance phone calls, theft of any items, damage of property, etc. Furthermore you understand that you are solely responsible for the training and instruction given to your employee for the maintenance of your home and persons involved.
