NON CONFORMANCE REPORT

Created by: Date: Report NCR# TN/DK 2/10/10 14 Supplier Supplier Address Part name/ Number Serial Qty Complete build #4 Number(s) FC06, FC07 1 assembly and FH06, FH07 Preliminary finding 2/10/2010 @ 9:40: Faya noticed that after starting stage one of initial bake out (215F), the ion pumps did not react to the elevated temperatures. Upon further review he realized that the ion pumps were never hooked up to the power supplies at End Station B. Faya turned off the oven at 9:40. Faya called Dave to bring down some connectors to hook up the ion pumps to the power supplies. We hooked up the pumps and power supplies at 10:00. With in about 5 minutes of connecting the pumps to the power supplies the three pumps were on line and working. We waited until 12:00 to see if the voltage came down to an appropriate level to restart the initial bake out. We started the bake out at 12:00. We don’t think there is any cause for concern. We just decided to proceed as usual.

Just a side note here, the 3 ion pumps we are using are brand new and this is the first test of them.
