VACANCY: Adjunct Art Instructor

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Qualifications: A Master Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Art from a regionally accredited institution, teaching experience in higher education. Preferred Qualifications: A Master of Arts in Art from a regionally accredited institution, teaching experience in higher education and experience using the learning management system Moodle.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent will have the following duties and responsibilities:  Teach curriculum courses as assigned  Teach classes on and off campus  Teach online or hybrid courses  Create an effective learning environment  Teach using effective instruction practices for a variety of learning styles  Present instruction based on the course objectives, program-level outcomes and the college’s general education outcomes  Use the course text, outlines, syllabi and other material in accordance to department guidelines  Maintain accurate class and student records  Submit required reports timely  Communicate with the college and department chair

SALARY: $33.02 per credit hour
