Championship show: Bitches: A happy, well organised, well supported show. Sp V (11) I Smith’s Tilita Leading Lady For Lucastes. Rising 10, put down in lovely fettle. In looks, confirmation and attitude a real Golden Retriever. Sweet head, level topline, tail well set on. Good stifles and quarters, a very happy mover. So aptly named she went on the win BVIS. 2 Woodward and Carter’s Wylyvalley Weeping Willow. A busy 9 and a half year old, so full of herself. Attractive head, good shoulders, good bone, level topline, good stifles. Moved with drive both ways. 3 Wells’ Merimoor Tried N True of Shtamar. MP (16) A very mixed class here with some long and large bitches for Minor Puppy. 1 Fleming and Scuffle’s Jamoon Lady in Red. A real baby, sweet in head and expression, compact in body, good in bone and shape of quarters. Pleased to see her enjoying her day. Time and ongoing gentle ringcraft should settle her nicely. 2 Filmer’s Dirnangan Rose Garden. A good size and shape for age, an attractive puppy willing to please. Feminine head, good body, level topline. Good stifles, tail well set on. Settled to an even pace once handler had hidden titbits! Coat a little coarse today. 3 Fleet’s Ritzilyn Pizzazz For Eastbury. P (25) Another very mixed class, many bitches long in the loin and high at the shoulder for age with natural, untidied feathering on rear quarters accentuating the longer cast appearance. 1 Kirby’s Ambergold Bees Knees. Soundly constructed youngster, has good proportions overall. Put down firm fettle. Sweet head and expression. Good pigment. Good bone. Clean strong neck. Plenty of heart room, good topline. Strong in front and rear assemblies, an able mover. Best Bitch Puppy. 2 Springate’s Flintdown Ferne Mirabel of Elzac. Presents a pleasing shape though would like to see a more feminine head. Good body, level topline, tail well set on. Good bone and legs. Has good ring presence. Square quarters she moved with plenty of drive. 3 Turton’s Palton’s Moment in Time. J (30) 1 Owen’s Thornywait Kaleidoscope of Aurumlea. A little strong in head and plain in expression yet this short coupled bitch has much to commend her. Dark eye and pigment. Strong neck, well held. Good shoulders. Good bone and feet. Good body and level topline. Well turned stifles, strong quarters . She covered her ground with ease. 2 May’s Cherrygold Holliewould. A little longer cast to winner, she is well put together with plenty of substance. Well muscled neck and shoulder. Good depth of chest level topline and tail well set on.. Good bone . Set of square, strong quarters made for positive movement. 3 Harvey’s Valisa Visual Eclipse. Y (28) 1 Hazelton’s Cailloch Flamboyant. A treasure! Compact, neat and everything in nice balance overall. Appealing head and gentle expression. Strong clean neck sitting comfortably into well laid shoulder. Good spring of rib, level topline. Tail well set on. Good bone and legs. Strong quarters, good turn of stifle, hocks parallel behind. Good driving pace on the move always at one with handler. 2 Owen’s Thornywait Kaleidoscope of Aurumlea. 3 May’s Cherrygold Holliewould. M (23) 1 Thompson’s Goldenwheat Gabriella. Well muscled youngster put down in firm condition. Kind eye, well proportioned head. Strong neck, well placed shoulder. Short coupled body, good spring of rib. Good bone and legs. Right front pastern muscles need tightening. Good stifles, neat hocks. N (28) 1 Hazelton’s Cailloch Flamboyant. 2 May’s Cherrygold Holliewould. 3 Turton’s Paulton’s Moment in Time. UG (19) 1 Thompson’s Ambergold Alicia in Goldenwheat. Well put together and firmly muscled overall. Elegant head, sweet expression and dark eye. A little throaty. Good length of neck, body with plenty of heart room, level top line. Strong in front and rear assemblies and well placed to ensure good, positive movement for and aft. She need not and should not be hurried! 2 Owen’s Thornywait Kaleidoscope of Aurumlea. 3 May’s Cherrygold Holliewould. G (14) 1 Mitchell’s Retgold Seriphus. Could pinch an inch to advantage yet this beautiful bitch could not be denied her place. Soundly constructed, well balanced throughout and with great charisma that is truly a Golden. Attractive feminine head and expression. Strong, clean neck, good depth of body, well muscled loin and quarters. Good bone. Neat hocks standing parallel behind. On the move she showed plenty of drive. A serious contender for Reserve BCC. 2 Burn’s Abnalls Apache Tears. A little longer cast to winner but feminine and sweet in head. Good reach of neck, good body and ribs, level back, tail well set on. Good bone and legs.Front pastern muscles need tightening. Shown in lovely fettle and coat she covered her ground well. 3 Simms’ Stvincent Christmas Wishes. PG (18) 1 Gayler’s Stanroph Endelwood Natasha JWShCM: A mature, golden bitch put down in good condition. Head well chiselled, eyes kind and alert. Neck clean and sitting well into shoulder. Good deep brisket. Level topline. Good bone, legs and feet. A little long in loin. Well turned stifles and well muscled quarters she reaches out well. 2 Pratt’s Rosyth Free Spirit. Liked the short coupled body of this bitch presented in lovely condition. She is well constructed, strong in shoulders and quarters and brings power to her movement. Has good bone, legs and feet. Stands parallel behind. Just preferred the head of winner. 3 Lees’ Jamoon Just A Flirt By Denmarella. ML (10) 1 Dobson’s Nosbodin Mercury Rising JW: Pleasing outline, feminine proportions overall with good muscle tone. Good skull, sweet and gentle expression. Good reach of neck. Well laid shoulder and level topline. Good body, deep through the heart. Good bone. Well turned stifles and neat hocks. She happily adapted to another handler on the move and carried herself positively. 2 Ley’s Gillbryan Crime of Passion with Murprila JW: A lovely, short coupled, well muscled, symmetrically constructed Golden. A little throaty but sound in all the essentials. Strong quarters, it was a joy to watch her cover her ground. 3 Mackay’s Canaleigh Never Say Never. L (11) 1 Simms Millgreen Miami at StVincent. An elegant and feminine short coupled bitch, not in the best of coats today, has a sound frame and plenty of substance. Conforms well to the Standard. Powerful and free on the move. 2 Black’s Lorinford Kay Sera-Sera Del Avrain. Not the maturity of winner and coat on the turn. Has sweet head and expression and friendly disposition. Plenty of heart room, a little long in loin. Good bone, legs and feet. Well turned stifles and parallel hocks, an easy mover. 3 Taylor and Smith’s Mandan Goldie Locks with Bryela JW. 0 (16) 1 Butterworth’s Applebrook Lily of the Field. Shown in full bloom and firm condition this outstanding bitch bears the hallmark of quality, is well constructed, balanced and sound throughout. Her well defined head and gentle eye typifies the classic beauty and expression of the Golden. Well placed, well muscled front and rear assemblies gave power to her strong driving movement both ways. She made a complete and elegant picture. BCC. Delighted to see her go BIS. 2 Hagger’s Ch Fairfield Firedreamer JW. A good shape and size. Evenly proportioned overall. Attractive head and expression, good reach of neck and level topline. Good ribs and depth of barrel. Good turn of stifle and hocks parallel, she excelled in movement. Serious contender for Reserve BCC. 3 Springate’s Elzac Jemmas Jewel. Sp Working (5) 1 Simms’ St Vincent Christmas Wishes. In good coat and put down in hard condition this strongly made bitch looked ready for a day in the field. Keen and intelligent expression and attentive to handler she was a positive mover. 2 Randall’s Topsy Tiara of Kelverquest. Well put together, has good muscle tone, well sprung ribs, good bone and quarters. A little shy in the ring to start she seemed happier on the move perhaps wishing she could be.outside working 3 Dymond’s Oaklin Fern. Sp 0 (5) 1 Maynard’s Ousevale Obsession with Chinnordale. In every sense a well balanced, feminine Golden Retriever in shape, size and colour and expression. A joy to go over and to watch her going through her paces so effortlessly. RBCC. 2 Allsop’s Remmy of Grayshot at Chrisper. Well up to size and a little long in the body. Level topline and good depth of chest. Carrying a little weight over shoulder. Attentive to handler standing and on the move. Carried herself well on the move. 3 Gayler’s Carolake Fancy That. Julia Iles-Hebbert
