1. Choose your Poem.

2. Follow the directions in the 4*3*2*1 Worksheet / Essential Question Packet. 3. Create a Noodle Tools Account by clicking the link on my website. 4. The link to Noodle Tools is on my website. The login is pj2 and the password is panthers. 5. When creating your Noodle Tools Account, make sure that you choose MLA Advanced. 6. Make sure that your login contains your name (not your school ID number). 7. Create your own password. 8. Create your Project. 9. Name your Project: Your Name Poetry Madness Project. a. Example: Suzy Student Poetry Madness Project. Your name must appear first.

10. Under Collaboration and Sharing, share your Project with me according to which Period you are in.

11. Research the Author of your Poem using at least three resources.

12. Paraphrase and summarize the information that you find. Make sure that you use your own words. If you quote directly from the source, make sure that you place a parenthetical citation directly after your quotation. 13. Your summaries and paraphrases also need to be parenthetically cited. 14. Create an Annotated Bibliography on your Noodle Tools Page for this Project. 15. Using the Google Doc Paper on the Noodle Tools Page, write all of the information for your project onto this particular Google Doc. 16. Place the author information as the first paragraph of your Paper. Make sure that you parenthetically cite your sources. 17. After you write your author information, begin a new paragraph for each section of the 4*3*2*1 section of the paper. 18. Make sure that you make your Annotated Bibliography the last page of your Google Document. 19. Make sure that you share this document with me by choosing “Share Paper” under the Sharing and Collaboration section on your Noodle Tools Page. 20. Finally, upload your revised and edited Google Doc containing your project to Turnitin.com by the due date – Monday, May 4, 2015. 21. We will begin presenting the projects in class next Monday, May 4.
