Hometime is carried by 312 public television stations, averaging 406 broadcasts per week and has ninety four percent (94%) US coverage; past episodes of Hometime have been aired regularly on The Learning Channel (TLC); beginning September, 2001, Hometime was made available for network syndication, airing on 116 stations, reaching over seventy six percent (76%) of US television households; national sponsors include Home Depot, Chevy trucks, Anderson Corporation and Delta Faucet; Hometime is also distributed in several foreign countries including Canada and England; Hometime averages 6.5 million viewers per week and captures the key adult 25-54 demographic. Appeared at grand openings for Lowe’s Home Improvement stores across the country giving seminars on home improvement topics for store customers. Has made over 100 personal appearances throughout US and Canada since 1993; speeches to several women’s business organizations, high schools and colleges as a positive role model for women. Selected as one of the 2001 Ten Outstanding Young Americans (Toya Awards) sponsored by the US Junior Chamber of Commerce as a positive role model for women in non- traditional careers, for encouraging women to further their education beyond high school, involvement with Habitat for Humanity and community service.
