1. The 2012 Buick Regal GS, (shown above) listed at $32,535 leads the pack. Buick has managed to bring back the sportier three-pedal manual transmission in this 2012 GS, much like the 1952 version above.

2. The Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca Edition listed at $48,100. is called by Ford, the “race car with a license plate” and the automobile pays homage to the original Boss 302. Hagerty states, “It’s a beast on the race track, yet tame enough to drive on the street – and all for less than $50,000.”

3. The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, priced at $61,785 looks like a keeper. Americans love their SUVs with the ability to take the rugged trails while also performing well enough to earn respect on a race track.

4. With a 160 horsepower, the Fiat 500 Abarth, priced at $22,000 has a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine, Abarth-tuned suspension, brakes and dual exhaust. This one comes with a complimentary admission to the Abarth Driving Experience with each purchase. 5. Volkswagen Golf R priced at $36,000 is the newest Golf, with all-wheel-drive, ready to be driven by anyone who enjoys driving. The 1980 Golf is a legitimate collectible with the 2004 Golf R32 headed in that direction. This latest version carries the same “pocket-rocket traits as it precursors.

6. The legendary Porsche 911priced at $82,100 will eventually swell in value just as it forbearers. If you are looking for a car that will hold its value over the long haul, then this is the car to buy now and lovingly keep.

7. The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, priced at $54,095 with 580 horsepower brings Chevy back into the hunt. It has been pushed out by the Shelby Mustangs since 2005, but is now demonstrating that old school muscle is alive and well.

8. The Nissan GT-R Black Edition, priced at $95,100, manages to squeeze 530 horsepower out of a six-cylinder engine. Younger folks in the US have experienced this car only in video games, but Hagerty predicts these young folks will remember these cars years down the road, when they can afford to purchase their dream car from their old video game days.

9. The Dodge Charger SRT8 at a price of $46,795 possesses a large touch screen in the center of the dash with performance pages that monitor the statistics and keep the driver up to speed on available horsepower and torque.

10. At $56,850 the Audi TT RS has global appeal and is predicted to have global demand several decades down the road.
