SCVO working in partnership with Inclusion Scotland are creating and supporting paid internship opportunities for disabled people within third sector organisations.

Eligibility Applicants for the Disability Equality Internship opportunities must: •define as a disabled person under the Equality Act 2010: “someone who has a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on his or her ability to carry out normal every day activities.” •be unemployed or under-employed

Hours per week and Work pattern: To be agreed with the successful candidate Hourly wage rate: £8.45 Employment duration: A maximum of 455 hours work to be completed by 30 June 2017

Internship overview Apex Scotland have recently purchased a Customer Relationship Management database to provide the organisation with reliable and accurate evidence of the work we do throughout the organisation. We have named our CRM system ASSET (Apex Scotland’s Strategic Evidence Tool) and it has 3 main functions, which are; •To provide the Corporate Management Team(CMT) with strategic management information •To provide managers with accurate information to assist with contract compliance •To provide our service users with an accurate ready reckoner as to their progress in addressing their personal barriers

We require a self-motivated individual to assist the CMT to fully implement ASSET in to all parts of the organisation. This will require the successful applicant to undertake training from our delivery partner, Synovations, using the Salesforce platform, and to provide training to all sections of the organisation, front-line delivery staff, senior management and CMT. This will be an exciting and varied challenge.

Main duties and tasks 1.Undertake comprehensive training with our delivery partner salesforce to fully understand the ASSET database and all it’s functions

2.Undertake a diagnostic check of all Apex staff’s competency and confidence regarding using ASSET fully 3.Design and deliver training/advice/guidance to Apex staff that require additional support to use ASSET

4.Create a suite of bespoke reports based on the needs of senior management and the CMT.

5.Produce a manual for staff to refer to and for new staff as part of their induction
