We have a great show lined up for you today including a few important announcements as well as a look at some news around the world. (cue talent 1) Before we get to all of that would you all please stand and join us for the Pledge of allegiance.

We will start our program today with a look at your important school announcements.

Cam 1: Talent 2

Attention all freshman your time has finally come. After much deliberation Mr. Deutsch and the administration have decided to allow freshman to go off-campus for lunch. This new privilege is on a trial but Mr. Deutsch notes that if everything goes well it can become something permanent.

Cam 2: Talent 2

Attention all you Hosa members. There will be an important meeting today at lunch in Mrs. Gelvins classroom. All Hosa members are required to attend as you will be electing a new club president. Now over to ______with some more school announcements.

Cam 1: ______: Thank you ______. Here is an important announcement for all students planning on attending the Senior Ball. Mrs. Johnson and the Senior class have begun selling tickets. As you can see on screen now the cost for the Ball is $55 and the theme for this year is Paris nights. This is a special early bird price so get out there and buy those tickets right away before the prices go up.

Any spring sport athletes interested in training for their upcoming season can join Mr. A’s after school conditioning program. The program begins with a short study hall then a 30 minute workout. Any interested students can talk to Mr. A in room 142 Cam 1: Two-Shot

Welcome back, lets take a look at some sports action from this past weekend.

Cam 2: Talent 2

The San Francisco 49ers were finally able to break there six game losing streak by defeating the Cincinnati Bangles 24 to 17 on Saturday. Frank Gore, the 49ers premier running back, was instrumental in the win as he rushed for 126 yards and scored two touchdowns including the eventual game winner. The 49ers will try to keep their momentum going next week when they take on the 8 and 8 Cardinals. Now over to ______with an interesting story coming out of Chicago.

If you need a hug, you won't get it at Percy Julian Middle School. Principal Victoria Sharts banned hugging among the suburban Chicago school's 860 students anywhere inside the building. She said students were forming "hug lines" that made them late for classes and crowded the hallways. Though instituted as a way to speed up the transition between classes the no hug policy has gotten national attention as most people seem to have strong opinions either for or against the policy.
