7. Announcements / For the Good of the Order a. Appreciative Inquiry (AI) Core Team UPDATE / Curriculum Development Process Review document for a better structure / process Add to CC web site / DRAFT Redesign per AASC and AI Strategic Planning, making better defined responsibilities of Department Chair and Dean In the past, per Tony, have been allowed to ask pointed questions – should a course be offered, inconsistency in process, etc. Give guidance to president or VP or autonomous body of AASC – who is deciding body? Is AASC conducting decisions of what should be offered, who should approve? Per AASC that CC makes sure processes/procedures are followed Curriculum needs to be a developmental process, not just one committee to be inclusive and supportive Remove Humanities / per Amy Magnus – CCO’s HUM 110 and HUM 112 do not apply any longer and need to be deleted to remove from e-catalog
