Gettysburg College STEM Scholars Program – to be eligible for the program, students must meet the following requirements:  Demonstrate financial need through submission of the FAFSA and the CSS PROFILE.  Intend to major in one of the following fields: Biology, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.  Submit a statement (250-300 words) explaining your past experiences/accomplishments in the sciences and your personal interest in becoming a scientist. Gwynedd Mercy’s scholarship program, Ethics in Science, Technology, engineering, and Mathematics (E-STEM) seeks to recruit academically talented students with financial need in Biology, Mathematics, and Computer Information Science majors. Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers Philadelphia Chapter Applicant must meet/exceed minimum test scores (e.g. SAT of 600 M & 500 V) Awards include:  Drexel is providing 2 five year scholarships of $5,000 per year.  Temple is providing a four year scholarship of $2,000 per year Scholarship will be coordinated with other awards and will not be cumulative . Chestnut Hill College Legacy Service Award – is a scholarship of $10,000 over 4 years in addition to any other scholarship/award received. Requirements include:  Student and parent are residents of Philadelphia  Minimum GPA of 3.0  SAT scores  Filed the 2017-2018 FAFSA form (available as of October 1, 2016)  Plan to apply to one of the eligible schools in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, or Montgomery counties  More information with a list of eligible institutions is available in the Guidance Center. Parentinn’s Scholarship - will award a $1,000 scholarship for an essay on the topic “Why Is It Important to Stop Cyber bullying?” Essay needs to be between 600-1000 words. Urquhart Memorial Foundation Scholarship Criteria:  African-American resident of Philadelphia  Accepted at a 4 year college or university in Pennsylvania  Possess a minimum 2.5 GPA  Proof of financial need  Have been involved in extracurricular activity/and or community.
