Confirmation and Deposit Payments:  Your booking will be secured upon receipt of a refundable R3000, 00 deposit. Deposit will also be utilized to cover any breakages.  Your deposit will indicate your acceptance of the terms and conditions of Shelanti  We regret no deposit will be refunded if your function is cancelled.  In the event of a non-payment of the deposit within 14 days, Shelanti shall be entitled to cancel the booking after giving the client written notice.  Your menu specifications and guest amount should be confirmed three weeks prior to the function date.  The final number of guests will not be changed after the final arrangement meeting and the final invoice has been issued. Please inform Shelanti in writing regarding extra guests that will attend the function. Re payment of the deposit must be done within 24 hours.  Should you require more pre-drinks, coffee, wine, sherry or sparkling wine for the duration of the function, this will also be deducted from your deposit.  In case of no damages or losses, the full amount will be refunded into your bank account.  Any balance due, will be refunded within 30 days after the function. Terms and conditions:

 Any damages, losses or extras will be deducted from the deposit.  The final amount of guests to be confirmed three weeks prior the function.  Appointment to finalize arrangements, to be made three weeks prior the function.  Account payable 21 days prior to the function, internet transfers or cash will be accepted. No credit card payment will be accepted. Proof of payment to be e-mailed. In the event of non- payment of the total account within 7 working days Shelanti reserves the right to cancel a provisional booking without further notice or liability to the client.  The final number of guests as discussed at the final appointment (three weeks prior the function) will be charged for unless attendance is more. Bearing in mind that should this variance be below the minimum mentioned in the final arrangements, clients will automatically be billed for the minimum as discussed in the final arrangements.  No money is refundable UNDER ANY CIRUMSTANCES on final payment of the account.  The client must confirm all changes and cancellations in writing.  All catering will be done by Shelanti – No private catering allowed.  Wedding Cake can be served with dessert or coffee. Please take note that this will not replace the dessert.  Provision is made for guests to have second helpings. No take away food is allowed.  Shelanti is fully licensed and alcohol will be supplied by the bar facility. Should any guests bring their own alcoholic beverages on the premises, we reserve the right to withhold the deposit paid.  Function hall will only be available on the day of the function for décor and flowers. Function hall can be decorated one day before the function if there are no other functions booked. Please make the necessary arrangements with management.  Florist can arrange with management to work at Shelanti during trading hours, if we can accommodate them. It is the florist responsibility to clean the area where they have worked.  Please be advised that all decorations must be removed from the venue after the function or by 8H00 the following day (including Sundays) – please make arrangements with management. Any items not removed within 7 days will be discarded.  Whilst all precaution will be taken to safeguard your belongings, Shelanti will not be liable for loss or damage to any property whatsoever (décor, flowers, gifts, valuables etc.).  Should the Shelanti building, surrounding gardens, décor or napery be damaged by the client, or any supplier acting on the client’s instruction during the set-up or break down operations for the function or during the function by any of the client’s guests, the client shall be liable and will be billed accordingly.  All candles used must be in candle holders or on mirrors and any damage to table linen will be charged accordingly.  Main Hall Facility: Minimum of 50 guests (adults) are required for Mondays to Fridays, and a minimum of 60 guests (adults) for Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays.  Prices are subject to change.  All prices include 14% VAT.  Right of admission reserved.

 Bookings for morning weddings may utilize the facilities until 14H00. Arrangements can be made with management should you wish to make use of the venue for longer, at additional costs.  Receptions that take place at 14H00 may utilize the facilities until 22H00.  Receptions that take place at 16H00 or 18H00 may utilize the facility until 24H00.  Bar facility: Last rounds @ 23h00. Bar closes at 23h45.  Music must stop at 23h50  Waiters and bar attendant cut off time 24h00, thereafter an overtime rate of R1 500 per hour will apply.  Overtime charges must be paid in advance or at time of request if not paid in advance.  No overtime will be allowed unless fully paid for.  DISCLAIMER: Persons entering these premises and/or using any facilities at these premises do so at their own risk. SHELANTI CHAPEL Information sheet for weddings

Thank you for choosing the Shelanti Chapel for your special day! We trust that it will be an unforgettable experience!

- The hiring fee for the chapel is: R3 800 .00 on weekdays (Monday – Thursday), (excluding flowers) and R4 800.00 on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays (including flowers) and is payable at date of booking. We accept cheques, cash, or direct banking deposits. - Flower arrangements are done by the Chapel’s florist and the cost thereof is included in the hiring fee on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. The reason being that it is difficult to change flowers between weddings. The flowers are shared by all the couples getting married on the day of your booking and can therefore not be removed. It consists of one large bouquet in front, 10 posies on the benches, decoration on the balcony and in the foyer. - The Chapel is open to view Mondays to Fridays from 08:00 to 16:00. On Saturdays the Chapel is occupied, and closed on Sundays (except for bookings).

- Rehearsals can be done from Mondays to Fridays from 08:00 to 16:00. No rehearsals will be allowed after 16:00.

THE CHAPEL PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING: a) 16 permanent candles which will only be lit for the 18:00 session. b) A CD sound system (please provide your own CDs and operator) c) A microphone in front for the minister and 1 extra for a singer/speaker. d) A beautiful Johannes church organ is available e) Seating for 150 people f) One glass bowl on stand for rose petals g) A beautiful table and chairs specially made for the signing of the register h) Two beautiful velvet kneeling cushions in cobalt blue. Ring cushion available on request. i) Red carpet runner from the foyer to the pulpit j) Toilet facilities, accessible to wheel chairs k) Car guard

R 2 800 per room  Bridal suite may be occupied at any time on the day of reservation.  The bridal suite will be prepared with rose petals, candles and champagne.  A snack platter (serve 6) and fresh fruit juice will be provided for the wedding guests.  A pamper pack which contains 5 luxurious products.  Fresh towels and bathrobes are available.  The bridal suite will be prepared for the newly weds  A scrumptious breakfast will be enjoyed next to the pool or fire place the next morning.  Assistance from chapel/guesthouse staff.  The Symphony is 5 minutes drive from the Chapel.
