 They all decided at that moment who were the allies and who they wanted to trade their goods with.

 I do think the characterization of china is credible because they only believed in a god if facts could back it up.

 The economy flourished.

5) Why did both Japan and Korea respond to increased foreign contact by going into isolation?

 They went into isolation because they had been attacked and disease, famine, and places where burned.

6) Why did Japan allow limited contact with the Dutch, but not with the Spanish or Portuguese?

 Japan had limited access with the Dutch and not Spanish or Portuguese because they wanted only two Dutch ships because they were isolating them self’s from everyone.
