Job Summary: The Assistant Swim Team Coach is responsible for on deck instruction and coaching of swimmers. The ideal candidate should have experience in competitive swimming and be willing and able to work well and closely with existing staff to develop superior skills, technique, and race strategies with both our current and prospective swimmers. Combination or elements of swim lesson, teaching, triathlon, or track/cross country backgrounds also considered. Ability to communicate effectively with children is necessary for a successful experience. Position: LIFEGUARD Branch: Bryan Family YMCA Supervised by: Associate Executive Director

Job Summary. The Lifeguard is responsible for overseeing the safety of all patrons in the pool area of the Kathleen Price Bryan Family YMCA in Downtown Greensboro. Lifeguards are expected to remain vigilant and watchful at all times, perform rescues and other safety measures as necessary, and attend mandated monthly safety trainings with other Lifeguards on staff. Candidates should have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
