1 [4938] 1 1 Whereas, the Raiders exhibited outstanding talent, hard work, 2 determination, and unity throughout their 1999 football season, 3 qualities which propelled them to the state crown; and 4 5 Whereas, we are very pleased to have the opportunity to recognize 6 and honor such an outstanding group of young men. Now, 7 therefore, 8 9 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate 10 concurring: 11 12 That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this 13 resolution, congratulates Dorchester Academy of St. George on 14 winning the 1999 SCISAA Class AAA state football 15 championship. 16 17 Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to 18 the Raiders football team and the scoaches of Dorchester 19 Academy. 20 ----XX----
