Place of conference: University of Gdansk, Faculty of Social Sciences, located on Bazynskiego Street 4.

Tram stop for the University: Bazynskiego, then a 5 minutes walk. Commuter train stop (SKM – Szybka Kolej Miejska) for the University: Gdansk Przymorze Uniwersytet, then a 5 minutes walk. Further travel details to be provided soon

The most interesting option is to stay in the Old Town (the city centre), which is 12 minutes by commuter train (SKM) or 30 minutes by tram to/from Gdansk Przymorze Uniwersytet (Campus)

The hotel that is by far the best value is the three star Mercure Gdansk Hevelius. This is in the city centre in a good location ,which is also near to the trams and trains. Note that this is the summer holiday season in Poland and Gdansk is a popular destination. Moreover, the holiday season this year has become concentrated, as the European football tournament will have ended the week before our conference. Hostel no.6 is the best (near old town). Hostel no. 5 at Gdansk Przymorze campus is very basic.
