Parts of Speech Board Game Project

PARTS OF SPEECH BOARD GAME PROJECT Due: Monday, December 15

Create a board game that will help the other students in the class learn about, understand, and remember your part of speech, the ______. In order to get full credit, your game must have the following:

1. Poster board (neat and in color) must include:  The “most important things to remember” about your part of speech  Rules for your game  Pictures

2. Game board (on construction paper) must include:  A minimum of 30 squares  Playing pieces  “Question” cards (students will have to answer these questions to move forward in the game)

3. Typed Rulebook must include:  Definition of your part of speech  Examples of your part of speech  Rules for your game  One half-page reflection for each student discussing your contributions to the group project.

NOTE: All students in your group must participate in all of the following activities to receive full credit: 1) planning and developing your game; 2) producing the poster board and game board; and 3) writing the typed explanation of your game.
