Relationships Manager (Fundraising, Marketing & PR)

Application Pack

Background

The Kage Partnership is a specialist recruitment agency that deals with fundraising and PR appointments in the not-for-profit sector, in and around London.

Since 1998 we have worked with over 500 not-for-profit organisations. The vacancies we work on come from charities that cover a wide variety of different causes and campaigns. Clients include British Heart Foundation, St John Ambulance, Macmillan Cancer Support, The Prince’s Trust, Save the Children and UNICEF.

The majority of our vacancies are located within the fundraising department of a charity. Fundraising is a vital part of any not-for-profit organisation in helping to raise the money required to finance services, campaigns etc.

There are a wide variety of different categories within fundraising including corporate, community, trust, major gift, events and direct marketing. We also deal with a smaller number of communication and marketing roles. We work on vacancies at all levels, from junior to director positions, and posts that are full time, part time, contract and permanent.

Over the course of the last 17 years, we have built up a reputation for customer service and integrity. Clients, both job-seeking and recruiting, feel comfortable with us and they trust us.

Our aim

We aim to provide a high quality, bespoke recruitment service to the not-for-profit sector, meeting the needs of both recruiting and job-seeking clients in the areas of fundraising, marketing and communications.

The way we work

We are a small business which prides itself on providing a professional but friendly service to all recruiters and job seekers. We consider both to be clients.

All the job-seeking clients who are registered with us are interviewed. This provides a greater understanding of job requirements, skills and experience, and helps to ensure a successful match between job seekers and vacancies. Job-seeking clients are given advice on their job search and career aspirations, and recruiters on the best way to fill a vacancy, appropriate salaries, job descriptions, advertising etc.

We also gain as much information as possible on each vacancy in order to provide a detailed brief for our job-seeking clients.
