The Mclean County Fiscal Court Met in a Special Called Meeting in the Mclean County Courthouse

The McLean County Fiscal Court met in regular session in the McLean County Courthouse, Calhoun, Kentucky on June 20, 2017 with the Hon. Kelly Thurman, County Judge/Executive presiding. Justices of the Peace were: Esquire Clay Troutman, Bobby Johnson, Matt Hayden, and Jimmy Igleheart.

Motion by Esq. Igleheart and seconded by Esq. Johnson to approve the minutes from May 16th Fiscal Court Meeting. Yeas: All Nays: None Motion carried.

Motion by Esq. Troutman and seconded by Esq. Johnson to approve the minutes from May 30th Special Called Meeting. Yeas: All Nays: None Motion carried.

Motion by Esq. Johnson and seconded by Esq. Troutman to award road addition bid to Advanced Feeding Systems in the amount of $112,370.11 total, $85,000 being funded with single county coal severance and the remaining balance of $27,370.11 funded by the county. Esq. Igleheart abstained. Yeas: 3 Nays: 0 Motion carried.

Motion by Esq. Troutman and seconded by Esq. Hayden to award bid for replacement of rooftop RTU air conditioning unit to West Mechanical LLC in the amount of $25,585 total, $25,064 funded with single county coal severance funds with the remaining balance of $521 funded by the county. Yeas: All Nays: None Motion carried.

Motion by Esq. Igleheart and seconded by Esq. Troutman to change the name of KY 2383 to Millport Road. Yeas: All Nays: None Motion carried.

Motion by Esq. Hayden and seconded by Esq. Troutman to approve 2016 Sheriff’s Oil Tax Settlement. Yeas: All Nays: None Motion carried Motion by Esq. Hayden and seconded by Esq. Troutman to rescind Resolution 5-16-17-1 authorizing application for $ 80,000 Single County Coal Severance Funds. Yeas: All Nays: None Motion carried.

Motion by Esq. Johnson and seconded by Hayden to approve Resolution #6-20-17-1 authorizing application for $110,064 Single County Coal Severance Funds. Yeas: All Nays: None Motion carried.

Motion by Esq. Hayden and seconded by Esq. Troutman to approve the agreement for donation of water tank truck from Castle Valley Mining, LLC. Yeas: All Nays: None Motion carried.

Motion by Esq. Hayden and seconded by Esq. Troutman to adjourn. Yeas: All Nays: None Motion carried.
