Project Development/Operations Manager

Salary £29,964 per annum + 10% Pension Contribution + Mileage allowance

Hours - 35 hours per week Monday – Friday

This post is initially funded until 31st March 2017 (to be reviewed in February 2017 with possible continuation for further year, depending on funding)

Job Purpose

To work as part of a small team supporting various aspects of the CLASP organisation including funding development, financial monitoring processes, sustainability, project management and governance.

Main Duties

 Research possible funding streams for the organisation that fit with the aims and objectives of the CLASP organisation.  Develop and prepare funding applications in conjunction with the CLASP Board of Directors and key partners that will seek to strengthen the infrastructure of the organisation as it develops and expands.  Research and develop a detailed plan of potential income generation streams for the organisation.  Work with the Service Manager in the potential development of new social hubs within North Ayrshire Sheltered Housing Complexes  Prepare monthly progress reports to CLASP Board of Directors  Deputise for the Service Manager during absence to include the following duties:- - Processing and recording financial transactions of the organisation - Updating personnel records, as required - Processing monthly payroll updates to Accountants - Staff support and supervision - Dealing with staffing matters - Monthly petty cash reconciliation - Overseeing all projects and services within the organisation

 Any Other Duties as requested by the CLASP Service Manager/Board of Directors Requirements for the Post

 Managerial Experience Preferred  Experience in a community development setting advantageous  Experience of manual and computerised financial processes  I.T. literate with working knowledge of word and excel  Knowledge and experience of funders and completion of funding applications  Good written and verbal skills  Good organisational skills  Ability to work on own initiative with excellent time management skills.
