What is the PowerSync Program? . A program that recognizes auto glass retail service companies who connect electronically with LYNX Service to become more efficient and improve customer service.

Why does the industry need a recognition program? . Insurance companies continually look for solutions to streamline the claims process and improve their policyholder’s experience. . The PowerSync program is a formal recognition program that can be shared with insurance companies to confirm and recognize valuable business partners capable of meeting these insurance requirements.

Can’t glass shops just use the Web? . The Web is a valuable tool for buying products and processing claim information, but it has certain limitations that minimize value and customer impact.  Not all glass shop employees have Web access  Web solutions are not linked directly to point-of-sale software, thereby limiting efficiency gains. . All PowerSync providers employ solutions built directly into their point-of-sale software to maximize their internal productivity and customer service.

What software companies support the PowerSync program? . Currently, DataTranz, Dialmark, GTS Services, IBS and Mainstreet support the PowerSync Program and provide GLAXIS-enabled products to electronically connect glass shops to LYNX Services and leading suppliers.

Will PowerSync help shops compete for more insurance work? . . The PowerSync Program serves to differentiate retailers and maximize their efforts to secure additional work.

1 What are the criteria to qualify for the PowerSync Program? . Glass shops must: o Be a LYNX Services Participant o Maintain a direct electronic connection to LYNX Services through GLAXIS at all participant locations. o Participate in an Electronic Scheduling solution and accept glass claim assignments (dispatches) electronically without a telephone call, when applicable. o Submit invoices to LYNX Services electronically

How do auto glass retailers benefit? . Communication through GLAXIS helps retail service providers streamline the glass claims process and eliminates communication and business inefficiencies. . Retailers improve their operational efficiency to reduce administrative costs and improve their customer focus and service. . The PowerSync Program recognizes this behavior and improves the retailers’ ability to sell and market themselves in their respective markets.

Are there costs to participate? . There are no costs or fees directly to become recognized as a PowerSync provider. . Point of sale providers may charge nominal fees for GLAXIS transactions.

Do all point-of-sale providers offer GLAXIS-enabled software? . GLAXIS is available to all point-of-sale software companies and their customers. . Currently, GTS Services and Mainstreet provide GLAXIS-enabled software products to connect their customers with LYNX Services. . Datatranz, Dialmark, and IBS have agreements with GLAXIS and are developing GLAXIS-enabled products.
