Greetings, Photobook Artists!

This is an OPEN Call for a Photobook Show and Book Signing, March 14 – April 6, 2015 - a juried show at RiverWinds Gallery.

The RiverWinds March show will be Photobooks and 2 or 3 framed images from your book.

LOCATION: RiverWinds Gallery, 172 Main Street, Beacon, NY, 12508

Artists wishing to apply should fill out the following application. PLEASE include:

a. Description of book and price of book b. Application fee - $25. Check made out to RiverWinds Gallery. c. CD with 2 to 6 JPGS of from your book. Plus (2 or 3) Images to be displayed must be .jpg 300 dpi, 4"x 6", d. Image list with title, medium, size and retail price for each image, e. A Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope if you wish your CD/Book to be returned, f. Mail to RiverWinds Gallery, 172 Main Street, Beacon, NY 12508. Drop-offs at Gallery also accepted.

SHOW DATE – March 14 – April 6, 2015. Opening March 14, 2015 5 – 8pm. Artists should be present to sign their book for a customer.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Postmarked by Monday Feb 16th.

NOTIFICATION of acceptance: By Feb 23, 2015

DELIVERY for Books & Framed Artwork by Monday, March 9 12 – 3pm. All the work must be archival framed and wired for hanging (no saw tooth hangers). 3 to 5 copies of your book are recommended.

FEES: $25 to Apply. If you are already a RiverWinds Artist, there is no fee to apply.

RECEPTION: March 14, from 5 to 8pm during Beacon Second Saturday. Artists are encouraged to attend and bring their customers, friends and family.

PICK UP for Books and Framed Artwork: April 6, 12 – 3pm. Please make arrangements to have the work picked up on time as we have very limited storage space at the gallery. If you are sending a representative, please let us know in advance who is authorized to retrieve your work.

CONTRACT: Artists will need to sign a contract for the show. Artists may not remove artwork mid-show.

TERMS: Artist will be paid 50% of the sale a framed artwork and 60% for the sale of a book. Proceeds from sales in the month following full payment by the customer.

All work will be juried from CD’s or the Actual Book. For the framed artwork, please send 2 - 6 images and number each image according to the numbered titles on the application form. All entries must include SASE, images received without SASE will not be returned. Please provide adequate postage to assure delivery to your address.
