ACADEMIC PROGRAMME AND CURRICULA DEGREE PROGRAMMES:

1. UNDER GRADUATION: The college of Horticulture, Mudigere is offering B.Sc. (Hort.) of 4 years duration and M.Sc. (Hort.) of 2 years duration under semester system. An enrolled student in order to earn the Bachelor’s degree shall complete 162 prescribed credit hours, out of which Horticulture courses consists of 119 credits, Natural Resource Management courses 23 credits and Agriculture & Allied sciences 20 credits including 2 credit hours of Non load courses. The duration of this degree programme is four years. First three years is exclusively meant for classroom teaching with practical components and the fourth year is exclusively meant for Horticultural Experiential Learning.
