The Hungarian Fencing Federation has the pleasure of inviting you to the Budapest Cup International Veteran competition. The competition is organised for fencers 40+ in men’s epée, women’s epée, men’s foil, women’s foil, men’s sabre and women’s sabre.

The category 80+ will be also organised.

Location: Nemzeti Sportcsarnok, H-1146 Budapest, Istvánmezei út 3-5.

Date : 5 November 2016 10:00 – women’s and men’s foil 14:00 – women’s and men’s sabre

6 November 2016 9:00 –men’s epée 13:00 – women’s epée

Weapon control: At least 350N fencing suit and 800N mask is required. Control for electronic equipment (weapon, lame, mask) will take place as follows: 5 November 2016 8:00-11:00 6 November 2016 7:00-10:00

Participation : All foreign fencers born before 01 January 1977.

Check-in : No later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the tournament by Head of the DT. Medical certificate is obligatory!

Finalists (1-8) receive medals as remuneration. Organisers provide the referees. Organisers provide the medical attendance.

Fencing suit 350N or 800N (FIE) with under plastron, mask 800N or 1600N (FIE), all types of blades are allowed (maraging blades are not required). The snack bar is open during the competition. Smoking is prohibited in the Sport Hall. The organisers take the responsibility only for the objects given to the organisers.
